Swipedia is a solo-developed app by Gudshade. We are committed to being transparent about how your data is handled. This policy explains what we collect, why, and who else may have access through the third-party tools we use.

Personalise your fact discovery feed

We do not sell your data. We do not use your data for advertising profiling.

3. About Our Content

Facts shown in Swipedia are sourced from the internet and may also be generated or summarised using artificial intelligence (AI). While we aim to provide interesting content, we cannot guarantee that every fact is correct, complete, or up to date.

Content should be treated as entertainment and general interest only. Always verify important information from authoritative sources.

4. Third-Party Services

As a solo developer, we rely on the following tools to run the app. Each has its own privacy policy:

5. Data Storage

Your account data is stored in Supabase, a secure cloud database. It is not accessible to anyone other than you and the app itself. All data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections.

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data will be removed from our database. You can request account deletion by contacting us at the email below.

7. Children's Privacy

Swipedia is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can delete it.

8. Security

We use encrypted connections (HTTPS) and Supabase's built-in security features to protect your data. However, no system is 100% secure. Please use a strong password and keep your credentials private.

9. Your Rights

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via in-app notification. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.
